Annual report and financial communication translation — Kether Translations

FINANCIAL AND CORPORATE TRANSLATION

«Financial translation that knows
revenue isn’t profit»

Translation of annual reports, corporate communications and banking materials
for Estonian financial institutions and fintechs.

We work with Citadele, Inbank and others. We know the difference between MRR and ARR, between EBITDA and EBIT — and why it matters.

01
WHO THIS PAGE IS FOR

If you’re preparing an annual report, a corporate press release on quarterly results, investor or auditor materials — you know this isn’t the place for experiments.

Financial terminology isn’t the place for a creative approach: a single mistranslated word can cause audit headaches.

You come to us because you know we don’t mix up kasum with tulu, IFRS with EE GAAP, and we’ll never run a document marked «confidential» through an external AI service.

02
WHAT WE DO

Six formats of financial and corporate communication that we work with regularly. All of them with double review and terminology control.

03
WHY US

1

Specialisation without grand claims

We’re not a law firm or a financial consultancy — we’re a translation boutique that has been working with the financial communications of Estonian companies for 19 years. We’re closely familiar with the terminology, the Estonian regulatory specifics, and the difference between group-level IFRS reporting and national standards.

2

Confidentiality at every stage

For sensitive materials (annual reports before publication, internal documents, preliminary statements) we don’t use public AI services. Only two people have access to the work, and we sign NDAs. There’s more on this in the section below.

3

We know the seasonal peak inside out

March and April are a heavy period for many companies — accounting and communications teams alike are stretched. We plan our workload around this peak in advance, and we take on rush translation work for reports without breaking our schedule.

05
CONFIDENTIALITY

How we handle sensitive
financial materials

Here’s what we do to keep your material out of external models’ training data.

Option for extra-strict control

For preliminary-statement materials and confidential internal documents (board-level papers, for example), we can switch to fully offline working, meaning we don’t use cloud tools at all. That’s a separate service tier, priced accordingly.

06
A SHORT CASE

«An Estonian fintech was preparing the Russian version of its annual report for a Baltic audience. The original ran to 72 pages — dense financial text with sections on business segments, risk management and corporate governance.

Deadline: 6 working days, with an interim iteration on day 3. We delivered the final version on time, along with a glossary that became the foundation for the next annual report.

Throughout the whole cycle, the material never touched a public AI service. That’s our standard, not the exception.»

07
GET IN TOUCH EARLY

During annual-report season (February–April) we recommend getting in touch early — it helps us schedule your work with priority, and saves you from being at the mercy of last-minute capacity. For corporate communications outside the season, we offer standard turnaround and standard process.
